GEOG 5900: Weather, Climate, and Global Warming

An introduction to the fundamental physical and mathematical principles governing both day-to-day weather and the average of weather, or climate. Objectives are to understand the physical processes of the earth-atmosphere system, describe its weather features and climate characteristics today, and outline how they might change in the future as a result of global warming. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for 520 or AtmosSc 2940 (230).
