The OSU Geography 1900 Blimpeteers were at it again this afternoon
The OSU Geography 1900 Blimpeteers were at it again this afternoon. Flying the maiden voyage of the new Geography helium Blimp for the Atmospheric profile lab in the Geography 1900 class. Blimp goes up 500ft and has recording weather instruments attached to the Tether line, students then plot temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction to illustrate how these change with height.
Thanks to Geography 1900 TA's Adam Tjoelker, Oluwadamilola Salau and Meg Cooper
We also enjoyed help from fellow Geography and ASP grad students Zhanassyl Teleubay, Emily Mazan, Tal Shutkin and others.
Thanks again for helping us have a successful launch, it was a beautiful afternoon on the Oval.
May see the blimp up again Friday afternoon, weather permitting.
